Motor Options

When selecting a motor for your industrial sewing machine, speed is the most important consideration. Motors generally come in two configurations:

• Variable Speed Servo Motor – Adjustable speed, completely silent when the pedal is not engaged, up to 90% more energy-efficient than clutch motors.
• Adjustable-Speed Servo Motor – Offers excellent speed control, especially helpful for beginners or projects that require precision over speed.

Clutch motors operate at a fixed speed (1725–3450 RPM) depending on machine type. Servo motors, on the other hand, allow speed adjustment, reverse rotation, and maintain set speed regardless of pedal pressure.
